Wenn nur flüstern / Only a whisper

Waldboden im Sommer gleicht manchmal so sehr Meeresboden, mit seinen wogenden Farnen und Sträuchern. Sonnenlicht wellt über Grün und man wird ganz still, als könnte man die Farben so besser hören.

50 x 50 cm, Fineart‒Print, matt laminiert und gezogen auf Aludibond, Rahmen aus Holz, naturbelassen; Auflage 1/1 und damit ein Unikat. Jedes meiner Bilder wird durch ein von mir geschriebenes Gedicht ergänzt, das der/die Käufer/in dazu erhält.

In summer, the forest floor sometimes feels so much like the ocean floor, with its swaying ferns and shrubs. Sunlight ripples across the green, and everything falls quiet—as if, in the stillness, you might hear the colors more clearly.

50 x 50 cm, fine art print, matte laminated and mounted on Alu‒Dibond, framed in natural wood; edition 1/1, making it a unique piece. Each of my works is accompanied by a poem I have written, which the buyer receives along with the artwork.

Das Grün zerbricht in Kraut und Moos und Farn

Die Sonne löscht das Licht in warmen Schatten

Ich taste all das Waldgeflüster dieser Wesen

Das Singsang Kratzen Rascheln Lachen Ich kreise stumm, naturbetäubt vor Käfern Flechten Zweigen.

Ich fühl mich fremd in ihrem Reich und kann nur schweigend bleiben.

Only a whisper

The green breaks apart into herb and moss and fern

The sun extinguishes the light into warm shadow

I trace the forest’s whispered secrets— these beings,

their singing, scratching, rustling, laughter I drift in silence, nature-dazed, in front of beetles, lichens, branches.

I feel like a stranger in their realm and can only stay in silence.

Jede meiner Fotografien ist ein Unikat und wird nur einmal produziert. Mit dem Bild erhalten Sie ein Echtheits-Zertifikat und das zum Bild geschriebene Gedicht, handgeschrieben auf Büttenpapier.

Ich arbeite mit Fett und Flüssigkeiten. Körnige Fragmente, verwischte Bildteile, sichtbare Spuren von Fett oder zerfasterte Elemente sind Bestandteil meiner Arbeit und werden von mir bewusst nicht retuschiert.

Each of my photographs is a unique piece and is produced only once. With the artwork, you will receive a certificate of authenticity and the accompanying poem, handwritten on handmade paper.

I work with grease and liquids. Grainy fragments, blurred areas, visible traces of grease, or frayed elements are an integral part of my work and are intentionally left unretouched.
