In der Wiege der geliebten Welt
Es geht mir darum zu zeigen,
dass eine Wolke ein Halt sein kann
und Farbe eine Hand, die du ergreifst.
Dass wir nicht viel mehr haben, als das:
Ehrfurcht und Freude und stille Begeisterung
fĂ¼r die Dinge, die sich in die Seele stempeln.
Dass es Tasten, Schmecken, Hören, Sehen und Riechen gibt
Und dass sich Licht und Form
mit meinem Dasein verbinden können
indem ich jeden Tag meine Freude darĂ¼ber erneuere.
Und so bette ich mich selbst sehr weich,
kann nur weich fallen und nie sehr tief,
wenn ich gehalten bin von der Wiege der geliebten Welt.
In the Cradle of the Beloved World
I wish to show
that a cloud can be a hold
and color a hand you grasp.
That we have not much more than this:
awe and joy and quiet wonder
for the things that stamp themselves into the soul.
That there is tasting, touching, hearing, seeing and scent
And that light and form
may join with my being
as I renew each day my joy in them.
And so I bed myself very soft,
can only fall softly and never deep,
when I am held by the cradle of the beloved world.

Ich arbeite mit Fett und FlĂ¼ssigkeiten. Körnige Fragmente, verwischte Bildteile, sichtbare Spuren von Fett oder zerfasterte Elemente sind Bestandteil meiner Arbeit und werden von mir bewusst nicht retuschiert.
Each of my photographs is a unique piece and is produced only once. With the artwork, you will receive a certificate of authenticity and the accompanying poem, handwritten on handmade paper.
I work with grease and liquids. Grainy fragments, blurred areas, visible traces of grease, or frayed elements are an integral part of my work and are intentionally left unretouched.
