The witnesses
Ich komme mehrmals die Woche an diesen Bäumen vorbei. Manchmal sind sie stumm, manchmal scheinen sie etwas zu sagen. Sicher ist auf jeden Fall, dass sie ihre Geheimnisse niemals verraten werden.
50 x 50 cm, Fineart‒Print, matt laminiert und gezogen auf Aludibond, Rahmen aus Holz, naturbelassen; Auflage 1/1 und damit ein Unikat. Jedes meiner Bilder wird durch ein von mir geschriebenes Gedicht ergänzt, das der/die Käufer/in dazu erhält.
I pass by these trees several times a week. Sometimes they are silent, other times they seem to whisper something. One thing is certain—they will never give away their secrets.

Sie haben seit vielen Leben nicht gesprochen
Nicht geflĂ¼stert gewispert geraunt
in Menschensprache
mit rissigen MĂ¼ndern –
Aber gedacht.
Genug dass es reichen wĂ¼rde fĂ¼r
tausend Jahre Kämpfe Tod Zerfall
Was unser Menschsein eben ausmacht
Sie schweigen.
Ihre Hilfe bieten sie an,
unbeirrbar fĂ¼r die, die still sind
und begreifen
Wenn sie Hand und Ohr auf die feste
Haut legen
und horchen
auf den Atem der existiert jenseits von Gott
und den Teufeln und allen Phatasien und
hinunterdringt bis in die staubtrockne Erde.
Only a whisper
They have not spoken in many lifetimes—
not whispered murmured sighed
in human language
with cracked mouths—
but they have thought.
Enough to last
a thousand years of struggle death decay—
all that defines mankind.
They remain silent.
And yet, they offer their help,
steadfastly,
to those who are quiet
and understand.
when they lay hand and ear
against their solid skin
and listen
for the breath that exists beyond gods,
beyond devils, and all fantasies,
reaching down
into the dust-dry earth.

Jede meiner Fotografien ist ein Unikat und wird nur einmal produziert. Mit dem Bild erhalten Sie ein Echtheits-Zertifikat und das zum Bild geschriebene Gedicht, handgeschrieben auf BĂ¼ttenpapier.
Ich arbeite mit Fett und FlĂ¼ssigkeiten. Körnige Fragmente, verwischte Bildteile, sichtbare Spuren von Fett oder zerfasterte Elemente sind Bestandteil meiner Arbeit und werden von mir bewusst nicht retuschiert.
Each of my photographs is a unique piece and is produced only once. With the artwork, you will receive a certificate of authenticity and the accompanying poem, handwritten on handmade paper.
I work with grease and liquids. Grainy fragments, blurred areas, visible traces of grease, or frayed elements are an integral part of my work and are intentionally left unretouched.
