Die Beständigkeit des Universums
Wenn ich meinen Atem spüre,
der mir ein Anker ist, wann immer ich
zu weit abgekommen bin
Wenn ich das unablässige Weiten und Dehnen fühle,
auch wenn ich im Sturm oder Schlaf
oder ganz tief unten bin
Wenn ich dem Fluss durch meinen Körper
folge in jeden Winkel, nur um mich dann wieder
auf der Insel meines Atems auszuruhen
Dann kann ich in der Beständigkeit meines Atems
die Beständigkeit des Universums erkennen
Das Aufeinander-zu und Voneinander-weg
im unentwegten Rhythmus des Lebens, das mich
zu nichts anderem als einen Teil der Wolken macht.
The Constancy of the Universe
When I feel my breath,
that is anchor to me, whenever I
have strayed too far
When I feel the unceasing widening and stretching,
even if I am in storm or sleep
or deep below
When I follow the river through my body
into every corner, only to rest again
upon the island of my breath
Then I can in the constancy of my breath
recognize the constancy of the universe
The drawing-together and the drawing-apart
in the ceaseless rhythm of life, that makes me
nothing but a part of the clouds.

Ich arbeite mit Fett und Flüssigkeiten. Körnige Fragmente, verwischte Bildteile, sichtbare Spuren von Fett oder zerfasterte Elemente sind Bestandteil meiner Arbeit und werden von mir bewusst nicht retuschiert.
Each of my photographs is a unique piece and is produced only once. With the artwork, you will receive a certificate of authenticity and the accompanying poem, handwritten on handmade paper.
I work with grease and liquids. Grainy fragments, blurred areas, visible traces of grease, or frayed elements are an integral part of my work and are intentionally left unretouched.
