Der Wunsch der Wolke
Ich wollte dir so gern eine Wolke schenken
Sie sollte unter der Decke schweben
in deinem Haus
und dort granatrot ihr Licht verströmen
Sie sollte selten sein
dass sie mit Geld nicht zu bezahlen wäre
so schön und kostbar
wie mein Herz deinen Händen
Du hättest damit alles,
was ich dir geben könnte
Es wäre nie mehr nötig,
die Landschaft nach Beweisen abzusuchen
Doch wie das Röslein auf der Heide
bat die Wolke mich, sie gehen zu lassen
Und was hätte ich tun sollen
als ihr diesen Wunsch zu gewähren
The Cloud’s Wish
I wished so much to give you a cloud
It should hover beneath the ceiling
in your house
and there pour out its garnet light
It should be rare
so it could not be bought with money
as beautiful and precious
as my heart in your hands
You would then have all
that I could give you
It would never again be needed
to search the landscape for proof
But like the little rose on the heath
the cloud begged me to let it go
And what could I have done
but grant it this wish

Ich arbeite mit Fett und FlĂ¼ssigkeiten. Körnige Fragmente, verwischte Bildteile, sichtbare Spuren von Fett oder zerfasterte Elemente sind Bestandteil meiner Arbeit und werden von mir bewusst nicht retuschiert.
Each of my photographs is a unique piece and is produced only once. With the artwork, you will receive a certificate of authenticity and the accompanying poem, handwritten on handmade paper.
I work with grease and liquids. Grainy fragments, blurred areas, visible traces of grease, or frayed elements are an integral part of my work and are intentionally left unretouched.
