Manchmal entzündet sich der Himmel
Das Licht folgt den Bahnen der Flugzeuge
die uns zu etwas hin- oder von etwas wegbringen
Brennende Hände berühren die Wolken
und reinigen sie von schweren Gedanken,
wie Feuer den Wald reinigt
Ich sehe die Sterne,
kleine an die Nacht gestickte Träume.
Sie fahren mit Candiszungen über das Grau.
Obwohl erst in der Dämmerung entstanden,
bleiben Sie zart haften an der langen Nächte Feuer.
Of Long Nights’ Fire
Sometimes the sky ignites
The light follows the paths of airplanes
that bring us toward or away from something
Burning hands touch the clouds
and cleanse them of heavy thoughts,
as fire cleanses the forest
I see the stars,
small dreams stitched to the night.
They run with sugar-tongues across the grey.
Though born only at dusk,
they cling tenderly to the long nights’ fire.

Each of my photographs is a unique piece and is produced only once. With the artwork, you will receive a certificate of authenticity and the accompanying poem, handwritten on handmade paper.
I work with grease and liquids. Grainy fragments, blurred areas, visible traces of grease, or frayed elements are an integral part of my work and are intentionally left unretouched.
