Am Grund / At the bottom

Eines meiner persönlichsten Bilder. Es sagt alles, was es über eine ehemals schwere Zeit zu sagen gibt. Nun hat es etwas tröstliches, wenn ich es betrachte. Beim Annual Photography Award 2024 hat es eine Honorable Mention erhalten.

50 x 50 cm, Fineart‒Print, matt laminiert und gezogen auf Aludibond, Rahmen aus Holz, naturbelassen; Auflage 1/1 und damit ein Unikat. Jedes meiner Bilder wird durch ein von mir geschriebenes Gedicht ergänzt, das der/die Käufer/in dazu erhält.

One of my most personal pieces. It says everything there is to say about a time that was once heavy. Now, when I look at it, there is something comforting in it. It received an Honorable Mention at the Annual Photography Awards 2024.

50 x 50 cm, fine art print, matte laminated and mounted on Alu‒Dibond, framed in natural wood; edition 1/1, making it a unique piece. Each of my works is accompanied by a poem I have written, which the buyer receives along with the artwork.

Am Grund

Fallen wie Sirup so träge und satt auf den Grund auf das Bett in den Schacht

Ein Pendeln in Schwere und Wallen von Kleidern und Haaren und Herzen und Nacht

Ich liege in Sträuchern am Boden am Boden von Dornen durchbohrt meine Haut

Denn das Moos deiner Brust das ich glaubte zu finden fängt mich schon lang nicht mehr auf

So fließ ich am Grund zähes Treiben in Bahnen in die Nacht und den folgenden Tag

At the bottom

Falling like syrup so heavy and full to the ground, to the bed, to the shaft

A swaying in weight and billowing of dresses and hair and hearts and night

I lie in the thicket on the ground, on the ground my skin pierced by thorns

For the moss of your chest I once thought I would find has long since ceased to catch me

So I drift along the bottom a slow current in motion into the night and the following day.

Jede meiner Fotografien ist ein Unikat und wird nur einmal produziert. Mit dem Bild erhalten Sie ein Echtheits-Zertifikat und das zum Bild geschriebene Gedicht, handgeschrieben auf Büttenpapier.

Ich arbeite mit Fett und Flüssigkeiten. Körnige Fragmente, verwischte Bildteile, sichtbare Spuren von Fett oder zerfasterte Elemente sind Bestandteil meiner Arbeit und werden von mir bewusst nicht retuschiert.

Each of my photographs is a unique piece and is produced only once. With the artwork, you will receive a certificate of authenticity and the accompanying poem, handwritten on handmade paper.

I work with grease and liquids. Grainy fragments, blurred areas, visible traces of grease, or frayed elements are an integral part of my work and are intentionally left unretouched.
