Wo Natur mit Licht verschwimmt / Where nature merges with light
Ich fotografiere und schreibe ‒ beides verbinde ich, um anderen einen Einblick in die Welt zu geben, wie ich sie sehe. Dabei geht es mir um das Wesen der Dinge, um das was wir sehen und fühlen und denken, um die Welt unter meiner Haut und außerhalb davon.
Ich sammle Wörter und Gedanken und erweitere meine Fotografien mithilfe der Sprache. Wenn die Baumstämme zu Kakao werden oder das Eis zu Licht, das man trinken kann, und das Moos mal etwas war, was mich aufgefangen hat und nun fallen lässt. Trotzdem wieder sammeln, aufstehen und weitergehen, davon schreibe ich in meinen Texten. Ich erlebe und fotografiere täglich die Natur und sie nutzt sich niemals ab. Sie wird nur immer schöner für mich.
I photograph and write — combining both to offer others a glimpse into the world as I see it. I’m interested in the essence of things: in what we see, feel, and think; in the world beneath my skin and beyond it.
I collect words and thoughts and expand my photographs through language. When tree trunks turn to cocoa, when ice becomes light you can drink, and moss was once something that held me — and now lets me fall. And still, I gather myself again, rise, and move forward. That is what I write about.
I experience and photograph nature every day, and it never wears thin. To me, it only grows more beautiful.

Kunsthistoriker, Kunstberater und Kurator Dr. Alexander Racz hat einen Artikel über meine Fotografien geschrieben. So heißt es dort unter anderem "In einer fotografischen Gegenwart, die oft von digitaler Glätte und inhaltlicher Überdeterminierung geprägt ist, markieren Pichls poetisch verdichtete Arbeiten eine wohltuende Gegenposition."

100 Emerging Artists of 2025
Ich wurde als eine von 100 weiblichen Künstlerinnen, die zu den Emerging Artists 2025 gewählt, Gast-Kuratorin war ELIZA ALI (Art Dealer, Editor, Curator, Creative Director und Gründerin von ”Art She Says”). Meine Arbeit wird zusammen mit der 99 anderer Frauen in einem Buch erscheinen.
I was selected as one of 100 female artists named Emerging Artists 2025. Guest curator was Eliza Ali — art dealer, editor, curator, creative director, and founder of Art She Says. My work will be published alongside that of 99 other women in a forthcoming book.

Vom 17. bis 30. Juni nehme ich mit meinem Bild "Mein Herz so weit" an einer Gruppenausstellung in der van Gogh Art Gallery in Madrid teil.

Gleich drei meiner Serien, "Nature's first Green is Gold", "Out of my window" und "Sky is Milk" waren beim FAPA 2025 in der Kategorie "Nature" in der Klasse "Professional" nominiert.
No fewer than three of my series — Nature's First Green is Gold, Out of My Window, and Sky is Milk — were nominated in the "Nature" category, Professional class, at the FAPA 2025.

Ich erkunde mit meinen Fotografien die Grenzbereiche zwischen Sichtbarem, Assoziation und Innenleben.
Die unterschiedlichen Lichtstimmungen lassen dabei eine Atmosphäre von Poesie und Melancholie, von Traumartigkeit, entstehen. Der Wechsel von Schärfe und Unschärfe intensiviert die Farbwahrnehmung und macht das immer Momenthafte einzelner Augenblicke in der Natur sichtbar.
With my photographs, I explore the borderlands between the visible, the associative, and the inner self.
The varying qualities of light create an atmosphere of poetry and melancholy, of something dreamlike. The interplay between sharpness and blur enhances the perception of color and reveals the ever-ephemeral nature of individual moments in the natural world.
